Yes, not a problem they are the same PCD, offset and hub diameter.

You may have to try one 1st ? I have 2017 rims on my 2009 cruiser and they only just fit. The centre bore is the same but the 2017 rim has more "meat" around the bore area and touches the grease cap........And I had to modify the plastic centre cap to miss the grease cap.
Can only suspect the later models had a slightly different grease cap ?

Gronk, at 2009 your cruiser is a 200 surely? They even took 17" wheels.

Ian, the main thing to make sure is that your 100 has the P60 offset wheels with 5 studs. There are 0 offset wheels ( non turbo diesel) and the P60 ( V8 and Turbo.) You can tell P60 because the wheel face is almost flat with the outside edge of the rims, the 0 offset is in the centreline of the rim.

I am not sure what the grease caps are, but apart from that they should definitely fit if your 100 is as described.

Yes mine is a 200 series.....with 17" wheels.

Grease cap...yes all cruisers have a grease cap. Obviously not many have taken their wheels off ?? Last time I looked nearly every car has a big grease cap in the middle of the hub.

Gronk.
They are NOT grease caps. They are wheel TRIMS.
My HJ61 had them attached to the rim. Grease caps keep grease in a hub. A TOTALLY different item and concept.

There are grease caps on hubs where the hub contains a taper roller bearing - on the front hubs of most vehicles.

However, grease caps are disappearing as hub design changes, and sealed hubs are becoming prevalent.

In addition, all solid rear axles on vehicles do not have grease caps, the wheel bearing is located in the end of the axle housing, inboard of the brakes - and it is either sealed or lubricated by diff oil.

Heavy duty rear axles such as the Landcruiser, utilise "full floating" bearings, where the grease is contained by the axle flange, and there is no grease cap.

What many wheels do have today, is a small central hub cap - either metal or plastic - which is removable, either before you take the wheel off, or after you take the wheel off.

Cheers, Ron.

The early series 200 wheels will fit straight on. The later (update) 200 series wheels will require modification I'm told, either fitting a wheel spacer or machining of the centre bore.

RMD...have you taken a 200 series wheel off ?
There is certainly a grease cap in the centre of the front hubs. How do you think the wheel bearings get changed ?

As for the centre bore, they are all the same on the 200 series !

After checking, 200 series wheels from 2007 to Sept or Oct 2015 will fit. Later than that will require machining for the fronts only. Rears will fit without machining. But you'd probably get them all done to allow changeability?

GregA6, when you say you checked, what did you check ??

I have 2017 wheels on my 2009 200 series ??

As I said before, the front centre area near the bore just touches the centre grease cap, but still bolts up fine.
That's why I also said they may have altered the grease cap on later models ?

Greg, I think whoever gave you that advice has mixed things up.

That answer is correct for the question... "Will pre 2015 17" wheels fit on a Sahara or VX made after 2015". They have to be machined or the brake calliper modified at the front. Note GX and GXL have different front brakes and are ok.

18" 2015+ rims will fit ok on a 100
