Good engine rebuilders Sydney?

An engine reconditioner is a parts reconditioner, and an engine rebuilder is a person who rebuilds the engine after quality work has been done to the engine parts. They aren't necessarily the same person. Many who build properly are assemblers of parts and observe best protocols. Just saying.

Clarification of above.
Some engine part reconditioners may do a good job but have much less of an idea of putting it together for reliability. ie, not engine builders as such. Some may be OK.
An engine builder, really doesn't machine the parts but receives parts from a recon man and then builds the engine.
Some have developed both skill sets and are therefore ok.

A painted clean worn out engine looks much the same as a, fully reconditioned to a high standard, engine, and it is the understanding of the hidden value and expertise some people are not aware of.

I can highly recommend Balmain Engineering in Artarmon. It is a small family own and operated company and all the work is done in house.
I have had a Land Rover 300tdi diesel and recently a Cummins 5.9 6bt diesel reconditioned by them and couldn't be happery with the service, the finished product (which I have done many trouble free kms) and the heplfull information and tips I got from them.
