I've also got a WA Pastoral map that I think I downloaded from a govt website and created the map for OziExplorer, So when you're driving (or planning) you know which station you're on.

Perhaps if you “Google” the station it may throw up a contact number or address.

Perusing the Yellow Pages, either hard copy or digital, under the heading "Graziers", in the area you plan to visit, may bring some success?

A more laborious search, in the White Pages, under the station name, might score a few hits, but I'd suggest most stations would be listed under the owner's name, whether a pastoral company or family name.

Another stumbling block would be the continual acquisition of neighbouring properties, by an individual, who then runs the 2-4 holdings as one, often with limited, or no staff, on these acquisitions. Phone still works, but no one's there to answer it!

An inquiry to local stock & station agents in the area, ie Elders, Nuitrein, Ray White, etc might score a phone number or three, providing you didn't sound like you were casing the place, prior to relieving the grazier of his plant & equipment.
