Gday Team.
I just managed to buy myself a 1HD-FTE 2004 troopcarrier.
Proud owner of a 1988 2H turbo also.

Im currently going through a road worthy for the 2004, and I cannot find the rear washer bottle for the rear window. I assume it will be a road worthy item.

If anyone has one of these, I would appreciate the help.

Don’t the front and back windows use the same bottle but with two hoses to front and back window .
That’s how my HZJ80 works .
Cheers

It should be in the rear on the drivers side above the wheel arch. If there is on cutout in the side panel you will need to remove it for access.

Come over and live in WA. We don't need roadworthies over here. (Which I find strange and don't agree with)

I've lived here in WA for 73 years and don't find it strange at all.

In your photo there is a dark section at the rear of the box that is on top of the drivers side bench. That looks like the original clip in cover to get access to the washer bottle. If you can get it out bingo youv'e found it.

Rear washers might not be a roadworthy item - depends on which state you are in.
My daughter had a roadworthy in Victoria and was knocked back on a rear wiper that smeared. We paid the guy to replace it then found out later it was not part of the listed roadworthy items.
