What is pubads.g.doubleclick.net...?

I have noticed that something (pubads.g.doubleclick.net...) is trying to load and I cannot do certain things, like print preview, while it's there, which is much of the time I'm on the
forum. What gives? Does anyone else see this come up?

My virus scanner reports this program as spyware.

Not really a program, rather a website that sources Google Ads(ense) for certain ad slots/boxes IIRC.

Thanks for your answers. I had wondered whether it was to do with some advertisements on EO trying to load.

double click has been around for a lot lot longer than google.
some consider it spy ware, I do
It loges your browsing and mouse activity as far as I know.
Maybe you should take this to a computer
forum or do a search.
my experience has been that you can still use most sites with double click disabled.
