Mudgee to Darwin Day 13 Uluru to Kings Creek Station

I was up very early today, walked up to the campground lookout for a sunrise view of Uluru. That was nice, but the highlight was watching the full moon set over Kata Tjuta, just gorgeous, I took a lot of photos, will add some in when we have good service. Then it was time to pack up, top up the water tanks, and head to the mechanic. One of e hinges on the front bed needs attention, so we called at the mechanic, he didn't have big enough pop rivets so we decided to try at Kings Creek station which will be our home for the night. We roped the front bed section just in case it moves, the other two hinges are OK at present but best to be safe.

We got to Kings Creek Station in the early afternoon, sadly there was a lack of large pop rivets there too, so will try again at Alice Springs. In the arvo we wandered around the campgrounds, had a look at the animals (poddy calf, baby camel, other camels, horses, playful dogs, white cockatoo). The poddy calf was sleeping by the door to the office when I went to check in, had to step over it. We cooked a piece of roast beef in the camp oven for our dinner, with sweet potato and other veggies.
