2/2/15, 3/2/15 Taylor’s Arm, NSW
Very wet night last night and this morning at Taylor's Arm - a small village 37km west of lovely
Macksville.
Camped in large Community Reserve over road from "The Pub with no Beer" - that's its real name.
Exceptionally nice spot, with toilets and tanks of clean rain water for showers and cooking. No mobile coverage. And quite! After Night 1, camped 20m from the Pacific Hwy, we had little sleep from all night heavy traffic noise.

With the rain, we decided to stay a second night at Taylor's Arm, and do a little bit of sight-seeing.
Macksville is a pleasant enough coastal town, and with the king tide, the low areas were under water.

Little bit of exploring at Scott's Head over beautiful coastline. Million dollar holiday houses galore overlooking spectacular ocean vistas.

On returning to
camp, and lunch, it was recuperating nap time to still recover from our Pacific Hwy night last Sunday.
Rain seems to have passed, temporarily, so we'll hit the road south again tomorrow - destination and sights yet to be determined.
