An easy travelling day today. Over the Blue Mountains, through Bathurst, Orange, Molong, and stopping at Goobang national park, Wanda Wodong campsite. (North of Parkes).

I found an awesome bypass around Orange today called the northern distributor rd. it circles orange about 5 km away. Great news as last time it felt like we were stuck in traffic for half an hour.

Between Molong to Yoeval on the Banjo Patterson way, we saw these cool sculptures every km or so. Animals on bikes. Heaps of them. The kids started spotting them. All kind of animals. My favourite was the brontosaurus made out of tractor tyres. The kids loved the rhino made out of a water tank.

And our campsite is nice. Wanda Wondong. Open grassy area with road running around the outside. Good for tents with bollards but the car spots are camper trailer friendly. Fires are allowed in fire rings.

Dinner tonight was crispy skin rainbow trout with broccolini and smoked cheddar cous cous.
