This morning at about 4am we heard dingos about 2 dunes away.

At about sunrise I got up and walked through the dunes. There's quite a lot of wildflowers blooming.

We drive past a station known as Bollards Lagoon. This has signs everywhere saying no fires, no camping, no fun. The same station used to have "the big yellow bus" but now that's no more, Apparently buried. And the same station has closed off access to the southern part of the Bore track. I'm sure they have their reasons and I'm sure it is the odd few that leave rubbish and disrespect the property. This property however is the grumpiest I've ever come across. I wish there was a way to reconcile with these grumpy people.

We drive past Cameron's corner, and into Sturt national park. We rush through here as we did it in detail last year.

On to Tibooburra for a beer at the Family hotel. We loved the paintings on the the walls. There were lots of paintings by different artists. One was a detailed picture of an outback scene - the dog proof fence at Cameron's corner. Another was a scene from the myth about Bacus. Another was a detailed painting of an animal's skull.

We resupplied and headed out towards Wanaaring. The road is in pretty poor shape after the rain so it's slow going.

We make a camp about 100kms from Wanaaring. The earth is really red, and with the rain there's lots of greenery. We have a awesome campfire.
