We're still in
Coffin Bay National Park. We woke up today to a bit more wind and thought we'd move out.
Low tyre pressures made
seven mile beach easy. We made sure to give the shore birds heaps of space as yesterday we'd seen nests (with eggs) of
Pied Oyster Catchers just above the high tide line. Don't want to run over their kids!
We came back to
black springs camp site, and today it looked pristine. We really would have stayed for a night but it was a bit full. (3 groups). Very tempting.
We came back to
coffin bay and had some under whelming fish and chips. Probably frozen fish and frozen chips chucked in old oil, while outside the boats brought in beautiful fresh fish. Sometimes you think it should be just so, but it just isn't.
We decided the kids really wanted to paddle a canoe on
Coffin bay so we backtracked to
Yangie Bay to stay the night. Had a nice local walk. I guess the
camp is easy access, no 4wd, and its a bit busy and lots of
camp trailers/ caravans... But only an overnighter for us.
Tomorrow the kids are really going to help pack up early, so they can paddle canoe, before we move on to memory cove in
Lincoln national park.
