On Sunday at
Port Lincoln we couldn't get seafood as the fish markets were shut. Today Jacqui thought we'd give it a go ourselves.
As the tide went out, the pippies looked plentiful. So we grabbed a few of the larger ones and put them in some water to clean themselves out.
As the tide got lower, my pseudo Polynesian wife, and daughter, hunted for razor clams. We opened one as a tester and cooked it with garlic and butter. Yum... Was the consensus.
So we got a few more, and we're having them with dinner.
We like this spot at
Spalding Cove. It's pretty sheltered, and apart from a couple of day visitors, we're on our own again. The kids are playing on the sand, and dinners cooking. I'm enjoying this.
