Baz - The Landy

There is something very inviting about Gundagai, a town that has featured in song, is infamous for the “Dog on the Tuckerbox” and can be quite chilly on a foggy autumn morning!

These days it is all too easy to simply by-pass this little gem situated on the Murrumbidgee River, but if you are in the area, stop off and take a stroll down the main street or maybe visit the historic railway station that is beautifully presented…

And hey, if you stay overnight, you could do far worse than have a beer with the locals at the Criterion Hotel, a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday evening and I did that last night as I returned from having some work done on "The Landy" in Melbourne...

But more on that later...

And in case you were wondering… “The Landy” came about as a consequence of owning three Land Rover Defenders, but as you can see this has now changed and yes, thank you, I've recovered fully!

And whilst I'm reluctant to refer to the new vehicle as “The Landy” that’s for sure; the owners’ of either brand would never forgive me!

But “The Landy” reference has stuck, so “The Landy” it is…Cheers, Baz!
