EOTrackMe: Registering your Device

If you've got yourself all setup with Membership and have the EOTrackMe client software installed on your phone/tablet/computer and press start tracking but find your tracking isn't appearing on your ExplorOz profile then chances are you've missed a step the most important (but easy) step in the setup.

Go to your device (not the website) and open the EOTrackMe app. Go to settings and go to User ID. Enter the prefix M followed by your member number. This will register your device to your ExplorOz Member profile and your tracking will now be displayed on your profile page as expected once you start moving outside your privacy zones. It's as easy as that!

June's Bloomin' News

Now that it's officially winter, here's some wildflowers to watch out for as you travel:

Simpson Desert swales and areas of NW NSW & northern SA support thick patches of Gidgee or Acacia cambagei. It makes great firewood but it also grows very slowly so use it wisely. It has a smelling something like boiled cabbage, that some find quite unpleasant. It usually flowers after good rain so its possible there could be same stands of Gidgee in flower. See Gidgee (or Stinking Wattle).

Next week we'll feature another June flowering native. In the meantime, don't forget to lookup your finds in the ExplorOz Wildflowers section or add your own photos!
