This abandoned windmill is part of the old Hunt Oil drilling camp off the Hunt Oil Road. The camp was established and operated between 1960-65. The windmill is about 600 metres north of the airstrip and sits beside a very large turkey nest dam.

This windmill is inoperable and no water is available from this site.
