Located on Christmas Island, this location will require a 4WD to negotiate the rough but picturesque drive through rainforest to the Winifred Beach
carpark. From there you negotiate a challenging walk through rugged forest before descending a steep
cliff-face staircase to the beach.Winifred Beach is an ideal place for snorkelling and exploring
rock pools. But be careful near the edge of the water – waves, rising tides and changing sea conditions can be dangerous.Please note that access to and from the beach is only possible at low tide –
