Located on the North Eastern part of Lord Howe Island, Ned’s Beach is a marine reserve and one of our special secret treasures. You can put on a
snorkel and mask, simply step into the water and marvel at the abundance of
fish species such as: coloured wrasse, parrot fish and trevally as they swarm round you. Every evening these fish are hand fed by one of the locals in an island tradition that dates back over many years. The fish knows when this feeding time comes by and the water bubbles with sand
mullet, salmon and kingfish, racing in to snap up the food.
