Blueberry Damper

Blue berry damper or scone mix cooked in a camp oven


  • 2 cups Self Raising flour
  • Soy or cows milk to mix
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar or sugar replacement
  • Punnet of Blueberries


  • Step 1Mix the flour and sugar and the blueberries together.
  • Step 2Add in the soy milk enough to mix together without making the mix too damp - needs to have a consistency like scones.
  • Step 3After kneading the mixture lightly score the top of the mixture into segments.
  • Step 4Coat the top of the mix with a light coating of milk.
  • Step 5Place in camp oven, cover with coals & bake for twenty minutes or until top has a hollow sound when tapped.
