Chillagoe to Laura via Maytown (Old Coach Rd) - QLD

This is a great alternative to the normal way into Maytown. The road from Chillagoe to Maytown via Palmerville Stn is good in dry conditions (Caution: Station Owner at Palmerville can be difficult to deal with). The Old Coach Rd North from Maytown is slow going and has some difficult sections requiring good wheel placement. This section is the longest section in regards to time due to the slow rocky, steep track - well worth visiting and has plenty of historical areas to explore
