Access to (and from) remote areas towards Helena Aurora Ranges from Coolgardie via a new fire trail. Permission to use granted at start of trail conditional upon user taking care of the track and its responsible use.
This route can save several hours driving time due to its good
condition and direct route.
It appears that the creation of this fire trail is in response to the devastating fires which raged through the area in Dec 2007
