From Eucla we headed along the Bunda Cliffs coastal track (rough stoney sections with intermittent sand patches) to the Yalata fence line the out to the Eyre Hwy for overnight camp. There is a new road and campsite at the gates of the Head of the Bight Eco centre which is on tourist brochure but not on the Hema maps. Fowlers Bay to see the whales up close by boat is a great experience. Then onto Streaky Bay and camped at Murphy's Haystack. Down coast to Coffin Bay for o/night stop. Up tp Rawnsley Park just sth of the Flinders ranges.(highly recommend). Day trip through Brachinna Gorge to Parachilna and then Blinman. Headed sth to the Sacred Canyon and Rawnesley Park. This was our second visit to the Flinders Ranges. From here we made an alternative route home as we do not like driving the same route twice if possible. This was just a bit of a cruise home on the opposite side of the Murray river as we trallevelled the sth side last year.
