Places: Search Places by Text

Places can be searched by text by typing in the word or phrase, the place is generally referred as. Under where it says ‘Search For’, type in the word or phrase and press the ‘Search’ button. You can refine your search by selecting a state and/or place type. These are dropdown boxes where you get to select one option from multiple choices.

Using text strings during your search for places does not need to be in the correct case. Now the search code may not be case sensitive but it is spelling sensitive. That means you MUST have correct spelling and the exact words used for multiple word place titles.
