The central mountains of
Tasmania offers so many spectacular views, and large lakes feeding the hydro-electric schemes. Awesome views at Devil's Gullet and the nearby Fischer River Lookout. Waddamanna Power Station museum shows the history of the power schemes at a now outdated power station. A walk around tiny Pine Lake, amongst high mountain vegetation and wildflowers, feeling the fresh
cool mountain air, was a highlight.
