Well it seems that the events roll around faster and fast, I guess it means that the season has well and truly started. This weekend I have a two man team entered in the Collie Marathon. This is a really good event and has a very warm and family feel, hence we are all taking our families down to the Collie region for the weekend. When I say all there are two full teams competing this weekend. Clyde and I in one team and the rest of my mates in another.

Clyde and I have decided to split the event as follows:
Road Cycle (27km) - David
Canoe (10km) - Clyde
Swim (1km) - David
Mountain Bike (25km) - Clyde
Run (10km) - David

Anyone that has followed my events for last year will see something strange on this list. I am not doing the Mountain Bike! This is a result of a hip injury to Clyde who was to do the swim and run however the injury has almost completely stopped his ability to run. Hence the reason for the changes. I am sure Clyde will do a great job on the bike using his new Giant XTC2 machine.

The other guys team is made up as follows:
Road Cycle - John, Canoe - Tony (from the Great Southern Team), Swim - Gareth, Mountain Bike - Wayne and Run - Matt.
