Heading north on the Bore Track
The attached file is/are (damn I wish I'd paid more attention during english classes!) my trek notes for the Bore Track, heading north from Bollards Lagoon Station. It's compiled pre my first GPS. I make no claims as to its accuracy therefore if you choose to use it for reference, it's user beware. There,...that's the disclaimer out of the way! The Bore Track is a worthwhile alternative to the trip from Cameron's Corner to Innamincka. The conditions are not difficult and you cross a variety of terrain including claypans, mulga plains and sand

dunes. Not advisable after or during rain but then what tracks are up this way? There are a multitude of tracks, cuts, lines and roads all fated to confuse you and due exclusivly to the expansive oil and gas exploration taking place in the area however the track remains well sign posted. Enjoy it like we did. Mick.
