Canning Stock Route - Monster dunes, lonely graves and haunted wells (VIDEO)

Submitted: Thursday, Oct 15, 2009 at 20:23
My latest effort at video editing takes in the Canning Stock Route from my camp 17 kilometres west of the Canning in the dunes of the Helena Springs Track through to Well 37. There are some huge dunes to be crossed, and a lot of sensational desert Country. Mr Tobin’s Grave at Well 40, the expanse of Tobin Lake, Well 38 and its rock engravings and rock holes and the haunted well at Well 37.

Hopefully it will give a bit of an indication as to what it's like to tackle the monster dunes of the Canning.

Yes, I've just realised I've incorrectly labelled Well 40. It should be Well 37 with the graves of Chinaman, Shoesmith and others. I'll fix it up a little later on.
