This trek note is still under construction. The trek note starts at Yarrawonga and ends at Mildura, following the Murray River on

Chambers Pillar
Chambers Pillar is a natural sandstone formation used by our famous early explorers as a navigational point.
You can still read their signatures and inscriptions carved into the rock. It is also a beautiful photographic subject in a remote
4WD area.

Ewaninga Ruin - NT
Ewaninga Rail Siding. The Fettlers Cottage was constructed in 1929 & housed the fettlers who maintained the narrow gauge section of the Old Ghan Rail line. The last Ghan train passed through here at approx 9.
Owen Springs Reserve
An easy short trek out of Alice Springs with good bush camping and a historic value of early
European explorers to Central Australia.

Owen Springs - NT
Owen Springs Track offers secluded camping at both ends of the gorge, an interesting historical reserve and ruins, a good selection of wildlife including red tailed black cockatoos. Very worthwhile.
Boggy Hole
Finke Gorge is located within the Finke Gorge NP south of the West MacDonnell Ranges in the Alice Springs region.
The most popular attraction is Boggy Hole, a permanent billabong of the Finke River. This is a good 4WD route to Uluru and/or
Kings Canyon.

The Tanami Track
The Tanami Track is essentially a great short-cut linking the Red Centre to the Kimberley. Although once a notorious
4WD track, it is now a graded dirt highway.

Winton to Innamincka
Beginning in the open plains around Winton and ending in the Mars like gibber plains around Innamincka, this trek which
is located in the Outback Qld region will take you to some of the most remarkable country in QLD’s outback before crossing into the famous Cooper Creek
at Innamincka.

Birdsville Track
The Birdsville Track is located in the SA Deserts region and runs south from Birdsville to Maree and passes through the Sturt Stony Desert.
It is an extremely remote region but is strikingly beautiful in its harshness.
