This DVD is compatible with most Windows based navigational programs. If the user has a GPS, laptop or personal organiser and a matching navigational program, then the Australia 4WD DVD will provide in-car navigation.
The Hema maps are supplied in OZF2 (OziExplorer) and ECW file formats. The Geoscience Raster 250K maps are supplied in ECW format only. ECWs are compatible with the OziExplorer mapping software range.
The software on this disk is compatible with Windows-based PCs as well as Macs running Virtual PC. The maps are also compatible with all ECW-compatible GPS/GIS software.
Installation options:
* Install the OziExplorer OziLite Map Viewer software and run the maps from the DVD
* Install the OziExplorer OziLite Map Viewer software and run the maps from your hard drive
* Use the map files with your own GIS or GPS tracking software

The DVD comes complete with a digital version of the information that is found on the reverse of the paper maps, plus product information pages and a registration sceen.
