While the road is closed there will be no access to facilities in the Weano Recreation area. The site will be closed for the day.
Work is expected to take one day, and both Weano Road and the Weano Recreation area will re open on Tuesday 19 May 2009.

The Homestead Walk Trail loop has been damaged by floodwaters. It is currently blocked at Jirndawurrunha Pool, and walkers cannot complete the loop. However, they may approach the Pool from either direction along the walk trail. Care should be taken by all walkers. Sturdy boots should be worn and be prepared to walk through some damp areas on the trail.
