Fishing Rod holder on Bull Bar

Hi all

Will shortly be trading the Prado on a 100 Series and have been making a list of the after market bits on my "want" list. What I was thinking was having the openings you would see in a strap on rod holder incorporated into the steel bull bar. This would mean that you would not have the legal prob's of having the Rod Holder attached when away from the beach and would be ready to use whenever.

I thought that just reinforcing the top bar and then drilling and polishing the area also to make it look neat. I rang ECB but they don't do custom work, I have not yet spoken to ARB but expect the same answer. Has anyone used a good metal fabrication shop that would have experience with Bull Bar work and maybe also using the rest of the bar as an Air Storage tank for the compressor.

Thanks in advance.

Can't solve your particular prob but my rods are carried inside the 100ml tube on top for 'getting there' but when they are rigged I just throw a couple of occy straps arond them on top, maybe takes 30 secs to get them down.Carpe Diem
