My RF47 did something similar (run for 10 seconds or so and then turn off) and I found, when I had the electrical system checked, that I had a battery/alternator problem.
I fixed that up and now I runs like it should.
If it runs on the 240V power pack or even on a reasonable battery charger it should run on you vehicles system.
Maybe check your battery terminals and all fittings and connections.
And BTW you should have bought an
Evakool! LOL
