Hi Nobby. We have had the F400 for 4 years now and it has served us well. Can't give you specifics re temps, but have not had any probs. So pleased we also got the RC1180, which is a
fridge with a freezing section. I keep reading adverse comments about how they (don't) perform on 12 volt. Have to agree with previous reply and say that they are great, but make sure you have adequate wiring. Twin core 6mm direct from the battery and as short as possible. As the thermostat only controls 240v and gas the only problem we have encountered whilst using it on 12 volt whilst travelling is that it has a tendancy to freeze things up. Just need to turn it off when you stop to stretch the legs etc and then back on to go. By the way, we used the F400 in
Broome a couple of years ago in extremely hot and humid conditions and it still worked a treat. Works really well on gas and economical too.
