What type of aerial are we talking about? UHF CB, mobile phone or AM/FM broadcast antenna? Do you have make and model details.

I'm assuming your are talking about the standard rooftop aerial for the radio/bluetooth etc as you mentioned "stubby" - if you are trying to get a smaller aerial that screws straight into the standard Ranger fitting you need to buy a Ford territory or Mazda 323 one.

They don't cost much - screw straight in - very small and everything works the same !

for the future reference of all concerned, there is a company.....AERIOPRO.....they are the major supplier of after market car aerials and entertainment accessory fittings for cars.

If you do not have access to a wholesale distributor, most decent auto accessory shops and car HIFI installers will have their catalogue and will be able to get any of their stuff in.

Most of their stuff will be identical to or better than factory fitted and if you are being done a reasonable deal..way cheaper than buying from the dealer.

They have everything from you common generic aerials we know from the 70's thru to the next but latests aerials and parts from top end prestige cars like BMW and MERC.
