As above, the 100 is still current so can't see anyone actually taking off around $3,000 worth to sell. Mr. & Mrs Al looking to build their own, may be worth a question to see how they are going.

My mistake, wires crossed somewhere, but would believe $2900. An ARB one for my MQ cost about $1200 in 1986!

You would have manure for brains to pay $3000 for a wheel carrier.

Kaymar dont like to bargain either. our club secretary at the time went there to deck out his new GU, rear bar etc etc, he said club discount, they laughed and said "Why?"... he said is that your best price? they werent nice about it, said take it or leave it, which he did, walked out, went to engineering place, they made one up for him for 1/2 the Kaymar price.

YMMV

there's a mob in WA called K & N Fabrications that make a nice, neat & sturdy unit for $1629. I will be getting one for my 80 Series next time I'm in Perth (price was for my 80 but a mate had a similar quote for GU Patrol).
ARB in WA actually retail them.
If anyone is interested I can get contact details

Coops you're right on the money there. I've got the K&N dual wheel carrier on my GU. Cost me $1700 and includes a custom made outboard motor mount for my Honda 15hp. The o/b motor mount bolts on to the r/h side wheel carrier. Its magic for us.

I went for the caddy duel wheel carrier. just over 2000 but you can keep the origonal tow bar and I belive they are every bit as good as Kamar. I can understand kamars reluctance to discount. (don't agree with it though) They sell every unit they make. When I was in the market I was after a new Kamar but could not get one.The caddy has done a great job

Greg. Not sure what state you're in but RW & JE Engineering in Benalla Vic custom build an excellent rear bar for between $ 1500 to $2000 depending on what you want hanging on the back. Excellent powder coated finish. Even the boys at Opposite lock were impressed & asked where it was from. Anyone who'd like a photo, leave your Email address. Craig.............
