South West Queensland - Winter Destinations

Finally heading your way, probably from Thargominda, then Hungerford & Bourke - any word on road conditions as we heard there has been lots of rain around Bourke.

You will enjoy your stay. We stayed a couple of days in 2013 & were made to feel very welcome. We did the self drive tour out to the back paddocks & had a great day.

Well a group I am with is Outback Beds, then there is Station Stays SA and if you just google station stays lots of them come up :) Cheers Toni

We have stayed a few times and enjoyed ourselves. Camping on the lagoon is very pleasant with the camps spaced well apart. Firewood supplied and a few yabbies if the season is right. A great number of bird species to be seen for those interested.
