I want to use the
Caravan reversing camera, have any body experience of its quality etc.

I am using an ARB reversing camera on my camper trailer and it gives a good quality picture.
Sometimes use for backing and other times use to
check what is behind me on the road, to do this I have a manual switch.

Is there two camera's or only one is flexible for backing and checking what is behind on the road.

May seem overkill, but I run two screens and two cameras.
One on the back of the van that is activated whenever the van is plugged in - gives some help when reversing and lets me see what is on the road behind while travelling.
The other is run thru the GPS so it works when in reverse to hook up, but then lets me use the GPS when travelling.

Hi Cruiser
I have two cameras, one on my ute an the other on the trailer. When the trailer is connected there is a relay in the system that over rides the camera on the ute and uses the one on the trailer.
It comes as a part of the ARB kit.

I was always hesitant reversing the van with only the camera.
Why.
Well most cameras cant see up to the height of the rear of the van and so if trees are about you may hit one also cant see along the sides.
I was taught to have a spotter when I got my HT licence and have always used one unless in a wide
open space.
Only used
mine to see what was behind me when travelling and the car one or hooking up.

Hi cruiser, have used for my 4x4 ( towing) and on my motorhome on separate big trips. there good, very useful for getting the towbar onto the ball when towing and for reversing safety. but limited-
bright light/sun 'floods' the camera, simarly at nite or in deep shadow- hard to see where your going or don't see at all. I took one back I wasnt happy with. there's several on market at different suppliers, some are thru an attachable mirror set up, some have separate screen. thru the mirror one i had was a very small picture field and was at times unviable due to in car glare. easy enough to DIY. models can be cabled or remote wifi . in general they are worthwhile.
we added a reversing alarm at rear of MHome as
well for extra safety- triggered off reverse light globe circuit. try any 4x4
shop, dick smith, Repco, c/van outlets etc...for cameras-
check the returns policy.
