I am thinking about installing a droopie precleaner before the forthcoming Cape York trip - I would be interested in the views of anyone who has experience with these filters. For those who might be interested in what they look like go to this website http://www.unifilter.com.au/droopie.asp

ahhhhhhhh a snorkel sock. Ask Roly on patrol list, he used one in his GU for his cape trip..

Depending on what store you go to, some actually DONT recommend them for turbo cars, then others say they are no issue..
