OK guys, I'll bite!

I see in the last few days I see a couple of members with animated rig pics. I have seen the waving hand and now a guy beavering away at a computer (Mad Dog I think).

Spill the beans - How is it done!!!!!!!!!!?????????

I could probably find out myself but I am time poor (read - could not be stuffed looking!).

its done by using an animated gif file as the rig picture. its a graphic file in gif format that has the ability to store a series of "frames" that are animated when viewed with a compatible viewer (in this case its the web browser). The file is also viewable in a non-compatible viewer, but only the first frame is shown.

Aaaaahhhh,

Someone is listening! How do the car companies get away with charging $1,000 plus to deliver a vehicle AFTER charging the price of admission! Just because they ALL do it does that make it a monopoly!

I am trading a 3 yo Honda Civic (and yes, Mr Toyota tried to screw me on that too!).

I offered to wash it before trading but they said "naahh - we will be getting it professionally detailed".

I'll be at the June long weekend get together that Mr Lexic is organising. No doubt there will be planty of advice as to what "extras" I will be needing (Outnabout Dave had been active already!).

Cheers

Yep, prof. detailed, By the 'detailer' working his but off down the back of the dealers getting about $10 bucks an hour.........

BTW all the pre delivery inspections i did never took more than an hour each , including a nice little spin down the road..

A lot of dealers don't even have their service dept. do the pd. they have a pre-deliv. dept who are just unqualified guys chucking on the accessories etc.. and you wonder why the quality is so poor..
