Hi All, just returned to Brissie from a trip from here to Hahndorf (SA) & then through the Flinders Ranges (Wilpena Pound, Blinman, Arkaroola) & Corner Country (Innamincka, Cameron Corner, Tibooburra, Noccundra). The rain followed most of the way to make life interesting. Got marooned in Cameron Corner (along with 13 others) for a few days & then met another member, Wazza (Vic) at the Warry Gate on my way to Noccundra. More water over the road east of Noccundra on the way to Thargominda so went via Eromanga & Quilpie etc.
Staff at Cameron Corner were great.
All in all a great trip.

Hey there John, good to hear you made it home safely. I got back yesterday as well. Did you camp near the upright half 44 gallon drum at Noccundra ? That was our camp.

Funny, story ... I was having a pee at Warri gate on the Qld side when the mrs tooted the horn to warn of your approach on the NSW side. Had to finish off when you left. Would have talked longer otherwise.

Good to hear you had a good trip anyway.

Hi Wazza, As I drove up to the Warry gate I observed you were otherwise occupied.......... lol....
When I got a couple of K's outside of Noccundra I came upon water flowing over the road!! You could imagine my thoughts, apparently it had only started about an hour before I got there. It was only about 6" deep. I camped straight over the road from the hotel as the camping area was flooded by then.
However on the Sunday the Wilson River was over 0.5m & about 500 to 600 yards wide about 22km out of Noccundra ant I wasn't that game, so I came back via Eromanga.
