Hi Phlip,
The track along the Indian Pacific line through the
Nullarbor is much harder than the
Tom Price to
Karratha Track.
I went along it in 1996, bringing my new Oka from
Perth to
Victoria.
Meet a railway ganger at Rawlina who told me that the track from there on hadn't been graded in 17 years.
Ther's lots of sharp limestone floaders who really cut up
tyres.
The reason you don't hear much about people travelling along there is as has already been said.
It's a private road and they don't issue
permits for it.
