Hi Paul
When you get to Kunnunurra you have to take the flight over
lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungles we did it this time last year it was fantastic well worth the money you should try and book it now before you go or you may miss out, also there are private camp sites at
El Questro well worth staying for a few days and if you get a site next to the river you fish for that elusive
Barramundi, but the one place you have to visit is
Cape Leveque again book ahead or you might be dissapointed and not get to stay because believe me the rough track out there is well worth it i will go as far as to say it was paradise and we can not wait to go back but next time it will be for at least a week not two days like before. Anyway have a good time and safe travels.

Hi
A chopper ride over the bungles is breathtaking, and beats a fixed-wing flight hands-down. You can hire a ride from the heliport at the Bungles. This means that within a couple of minutes, you're actually over the bungles, and the whole 1/2 hr is sightseeing, not travelling. Not sure of the cost these days, did mine back in the mid-90's and it cost about $150ea for 1/2 hr. Worth every penny.
cheers,
Gerry
