Wow, haven,t they conned us all with mobiles !
First analogue, then digital & now CDMA, why didn,t they leave it all analogue & spend money upgrading
Australia so as we could use them.
I have 3 in car all day, all on Telstra, 2x Nokia Digital 6310i as unlike kids new fangled whizzbang phones I can SEE the screens on them,
1x Nokia6385 CDMA I used to have Kyocera but I just like feel & sound of Nokia.
Re CDMA v Digital, well when I ring Telstra looking for a number & she says " I cannot hear you " I say I am only using the system Telstra gave us !
I find none any good unless 5 k either side of a town & out in rural areas not on major highways YES the CDMA sometimes works 2 k further than the digital.
They say they have 90% of
Australia covered but they forget to mention that 90% poulation live in cities, & yes they are covered. I reckon 10%
Australia is covered & 90% area is not covered in my guesstimate.
CDMA best use area for me is in
Sydney suburbia in 5 pm traffic when the digital system is so clogged with everyone on way home from work telling their wife what time they want their roast on the table, that I can always get through on CDMA as very few city people own them, rest time wherever I am it is fairly line ball.
