would like opinion on running caravan fridge off the car battery while travelling, then when stopping for the night running on gas. Is this a feasible proposition. Will be travelling for approx. 1month.

Greg,it is possible to run the fridge from the car battery,it can also be a trap if is not connected properly,I run a 39lt Engel on my camping trailer, the wiring been done trhu the aux point of the 7 pin plug but this supply gets isolated when you turn the ignition off,so far and afternearly six years never have a problem cheers Joe
