Other than that all I can offer is that what you describe is pretty much what our first campertrailer was...7x4 with 18 inch sides. It was actually made by TREG trailers (of Treg hitch fame), then had the canvas made and fitted by a SA based company who we later learned did the canvas work for Cavalier campers. Unfortunately we sold this trailer a couple of years ago so I can't give you any dimensions but we do have pics and a fair bit of info on the set-up and modifications that we made posted on our website

Taz, went through the anguish of looking that way to carry our camper box part time and do other jobs part time too. Heather looked in the Trading Post and came up with two solid ones in Victoria.

We bought one with brakes, heavy frame and sides of checquer plate. 1750 kg anti-rebound "Outback" springs and a 1750 Kg axle and 600 mm or two foot high sides with three 15" wheels well shod. The box is 5' by 7' in the old measure. The cost at about 2/3 of the material cost, at 4 years old in good order..........
