Hi Fay:

We just grab the marshmallows that are in the Supermarket - Allens, I think. The fork we use is an extending fork that we bought from Hillbilly Camping at one of the 4WD shows. Works a treat and the handle keeps you away from the hot stuff, plus, with three prongs, you can toast a couple at a time.

We also usually have a block of dark chocolate which we put into one of those army style pannikins over the coals, let it melt, and then coat the marshmallows.

Enjoy!!

Hi Fay
The best marchmallows were the ones that had cocnut on the outside as this allowed you to heat the marshmellows for longer without them going gooy. The only place I have seen them recently was at Peak Hill on the Newell Highway.
