centrifigal filters

Thinking about what was mentioned previously about centrifigal oil filters, and am enquiring whether or not anyone makes these filters to screw on to an 80 series without mods.
Also how do one paint ones caravan. are you able to just spray the paint on directly to aluminium (as i have been told) or is some product you first have to treat the aluminium with first.

Thanking you all for your advice.

Regards

Bob

Q2. Depends whether the aluminium is already painted or not, and weathered or not. If bare metal you'll need to use an etch primer suitable for aluminium- talk to a paint supplier.
If painting over prev paint- just sand lightly and go for it.

A company called MANN+HUMMEL make a good centrifugal filter.I think you would have to figure out all the plumbing etc. for yourself. They have an office in Sydney.

Thanks Steve, Ill look into it as it sounds like a good idea and if it saves money and motor then in the long run it should be good.

Thanks again Steve,
just finished looking at the site, very impressive. couldnt find any prices though. however, if one could get 50,000km from a filter and oil, be real cheap servicing.
