Hi All who are travelling to Hillend For the get together. I'v just spoken to Baz and there in a tropical down pour in Bathurst!! (his words not mine). Campsite has been Changed due to a fairly trickey river crossing. The new campsite is Bruinbun camp ground , still on the bridle track but easier to get to and I am told is the first Campsite along the track from the Bathurst end. We'll be on Channel 18 on the UHF. I'm leaving at midday and will be available on mobile untill about 3.00 - 0407298885. See you there, bring ya wellies......

If they have had 1/2 the amount of rain that we have had in Portland you would need a 4m high snorkel, about 6 ton in the back to hold you down and bloody good wipers. LOL

I camped in Hill End In April, we had lunch, sitting on a rock in the river, the Patrol parked in the riverbed, normally under 2 metres of water near the weir, not a drop of water to be seen, things must have changed since then.
