i have owned a burke & wills swag for a couple of years now and think its great, but only get the redgum as it is the best for every weather condition as it can fully close up on a cold night as they all do, but if it rains you can get out at the head with out anything getting wet. If you go to the tropics the top flap zips right down to your feet & low on the sides and throw the flap back on the ground to give the best air flow than any other swag i could find. Most of the others only go about half way and not to low on the sides. With the hoops at each end i use an extendable tent pole between the hoops to set up,, no need to tie of to anything or use pegs, also easy to move it around in the sun to dry out if wet or your mate is snoring to loud. Great sand flie mesh too. Oztrail has just release a rip-off of the redgum for $200 looks O.K

I have got a Redgum as well.
I love it! Had it a couple of years now and used it heaps.
It was well worth the extra money to get a good swag which can handle any condition mother nature throws at you when you are away.

Not sure if its still there, but at Nyora, victoria, they have a seconds store where you can buy the bourke and wills swag a bit cheaper.
I bought mine from there and saved about $70 on it because the stitching was a little tight for about 1inch at the bottom of the swag and they couldnt sell it for full price. You can hardly notice its there unless its pointed out. Other than that, its perfect!
