Fuel Consumption

Submitted: Monday, Aug 12, 2002 at 00:00

Peter

Can anyone tell me what sort of fuel consumption I would get out of a 100 series landcruiser (normally aspirated diesel with a manual gear box) if I was towing a camper trailer weighing 700kg in total. My trip would consist of 50/50 bitumen & good unsealed roads.

You will use between 1-1 1/2 litres more per hundred klms than you now use without the camper
