Twine Hot water Unit into Landcruiser 105

Can anyone tell me which heater hose goes to the tap in the 105 landcruiser? Top or Bottom as they go through the firewall? Will save me pulling half the dash apart to find out as the tap is inside. Have thought about putting in a couple of T's and an aftermarket tap to control the temp if I have to.

Mick,

I should also add I have a mixer tap that I added on the shower side of the heat exchanger ciruit to mix hot with cold as you would in a normal shower and find it far more accurate than mixing from the dash controls. Set the dash and forget......

Stuart

Hi The tap will be on the heat side of the system, so the hose that comes off your head is the one that will have the shutoff valve on it...

Thought of that Dozer, but one comed from the back of the water pump and one comes from the block. I've figured out the flow direction so I'm guessing that the tap is before the heater box on the inward side.

Mick find which direction the water flows on your truck and thats goes to the in on the exchanger so it should be flowing out on your rig to in on the exchanger then out of the exchanger to in on your rig.
Mick go HERE it's not twine but same princible.

Normally you would run the water from the motor in the opposite direction to the shower water.

To keep it slightly cooler , you can run them in the same direction.

(something to do with keeping in contact with hotter water longer ).

Hi easiest way forward is to tee off the bloclk (which is hot end) and put your own valve on it so only when shower is in use you open it up. outlet is to the pump. ie the punp is suction and block is pressure.
