What time is it

Submitted: Monday, Nov 01, 2004 at 20:15

Wayne (NSW)

For the others in the Western States and Queensland it is 17 minutes past 9 in NSW. We now have the extra hour of day light to do the things that we would do on the weekend. This means that the weekend is now free to do other things like camping and 4WDriving.

I do all those things daylight saving or not! Still it takes a bit getting used to and you keep on thinking that is is really only 5pm when the clock shows 6pm. Then just as we get used to it we have to change back again. WA, NT and QLD are not on DS just to complicate matters

Pete,

Unbelievable as it may seem from the photo, he wasn't bogged. he simply stopped and the mighty GQ fitted with Cooper STT's simply drove out.

I know, cos I was there (Max Boyce?)

Cheers,

Jim.

I reckon it is great - day light savings that is - most of my Bosses are in the east whic means I start work at 7.30 am (10.30 am EDST) and I wind down from 1.00 pm (4.00 pm EDST) as no one phones after this time. Only have to work for 5 1/2 hours a day!!!!
